Delete your account
You can delete your Wordker account at any time, with or without the app installed. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
In the app
Open Account and tap Delete account. If your account has a password, you will be asked for it once more.
Without the app
Enter the e-mail address of your account on the page below. We will send you a link; opening it and confirming deletes the account. The link is valid for one hour.
What gets deleted
- your e-mail address, password, nickname and avatar,
- the link between your device and the account, and every active session,
- your push notification token.
Your words and scores stay in the rounds you played, attributed to an anonymous placeholder, because other players' results and the leaderboards are built from them. They no longer identify you. Copies in database backups are removed as backups rotate.
Playing without an account?
Anonymous profiles have no e-mail, so the link above cannot find them. Delete the profile in the app (Account → Delete account), or simply stop playing: anonymous profiles are removed automatically after 30 days without a game.
